Job Description

Support and make an everlasting impact to the citizens of North Dakota as a Sr. Threat Intelligence Analyst. This position primarily focusses on the identification, analysis, processing, and distribution of finished intelligence to The State of North Dakota.

As a Sr. Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will:

- Focus on the identification, analysis, processing, and distribution of finished and actionable intelligence products.
- Help fulfill and vet high-quality papers, briefings, recommendations, and findings that help support key decision makers.
- Gather, synthesize, and analyze open-source intelligence information.
- Collect and analyze threat intelligence to use and guide opportunities for detections, protection, and risk-based remediation strategies.
- Give briefings on the latest threat intelligence information to the Joint Cyber Operations Center, State Entities, and the State of North Dakota

To succeed in this position, you will need to be able to disseminate completed and actionable threat intelligence packages including reports, briefs, and action plans. You will work in a collaborative environment, and communicate in a clear, concise manner with a variety of audiences. You will embrace and excel in an environment with a continuous workload and competing priorities.

To be considered for this role, you must have one of the following:

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, cyber security, information technology, or related degree and 1 year of current and progressive work experience within a cybersecurity role or an information technology role including security responsibilities.
- An associate degree in computer science, computer information systems, cyber security, information technology, or related degree and three (3) years of current and progressive work experience within a cybersecurity role or an information technology role including security responsibilities.
- Five (5) years of current and progressive work experience within a cybersecurity role or an information technology role including security responsibilities.
