A quick search shows a webpage for a new "3rd generation" file sharing program called "Poilet" (http://www.piolet.com/) that uses this port. In their help section it talks about configuring port 41170 to allow public and private access on most of the 3rd party routers and software firewall programs that home users might have. mike_t

according to the following site/url this port scan is do to "Blubster" a file sharing program. site/url: http://blubster-faq.de/blubster_faq.php#cat1_4 now I don't understand the language it is written in but I get an idea of it being the culprit for this port scan.
