I've never seen Adobe release a prenotification before - what could possibly be the reason - it helps no consumers really at this point and it just gives hackers a heads up. Is it to say - get ready?! Here they come?! I would do this again Adobe... not smart. "These updates will address critical vulnerabilities in the software. "

Adobe regularly published pre-notifications in the past. Nothing unusual. However, the also frequently publish additional updates not included in the prenotifications.

Every second Tuesday of the month is "Patch Tuesday". This is when Microsoft and now Adobe release their security patches. Some of us call it "Black Tuesday".
For this month, our lucky day is 13th Oct. So nothing new here. (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_Tuesday) |
